Co-founder & CEO

Pedro Magalhães

Pedro Magalhães is Co-founder and CEO of Fenix Capital Partners. Before establishing the firm, he was Coordinating Director of Equity and Debt at Banco Português de Fomento, leading the division responsible for equity, quasi-equity and debt instruments.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in structuring and executing financing and investment transactions exceeding €1 billion, working with bank and alternative instruments, public funds, venture capital and private equity.

He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Minho, has spoken at conferences and has undertaken research and consulting for a range of organisations. He has complemented his education with programmes at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School, INSEAD and Porto Business School.

Ana Oliveira, Co-founder & CFO at Fenix Capital Partners

Co-founder & CFO

Ana Oliveira

Ana Oliveira is Co-founder and CFO of Fenix Capital Partners, with experience in institutional investment, financial analysis and alternative assets. Before establishing the firm, she worked in the Equity Division of Banco Português de Fomento and, previously, at Instituição Financeira de Desenvolvimento.

She began her career in banking and specialised in venture capital and private equity. During her career, she has monitored and managed investments in more than 20 Portuguese and European venture capital and private equity funds, with aggregate assets under management exceeding €500 million.

She holds a degree in Economics and a master's degree from the University of Minho, as well as a postgraduate qualification in Financial Analysis from Porto Business School.
